Portland's Seasonal Events and Festivals

Portland hosts and puts on a plethora of events and festivals year round. One of the most attended is the Rose Festival which takes place each June (when the roses are in bloom).

Portland Jazz Festival

The next Portland Jazz Festival takes place February 11-20, 2005. More than 75 live performances and events are scheduled at the second annual festival. Performances will take place a many venues around downtown.

Portland International Film Festival

This annual February festival hosted by the Northwest Film Center premieres films from around the world, usually screening over 100 films in two and a half weeks. The 28th festival will take place February 11th through the 27th, 2005.

Portland Rose Festival and Parades

A tradition for almost 100 years, the Portland Rose Festival has celebrated the City of Roses in bloom. The 2005 festival starts June 2, 2005. For more information, visit http://www.rosefestival.org/.
